Worship

Prayer is a language that each of us speaks and hears in a different way. When we pray together, we try to find meaning within the chorus of diverse voices. Our Rabbi engages us with meaningful sermons, stimulating teaching, and wonderful music, grounding us and showing us how the lessons from the past are relevant to our lives today.

Through a wide range of truly meaningful spiritual experiences, we offer something for everyone, including Shabbat Hallelu, Weekly Friday Night and Saturday B’nei Mitzvah Services. We also offer spiritual Saturday Shabbat Walk services with Rabbi Lerner, weather permitting.

Our worship services are emotionally engaging, intellectually stimulating, spiritually vibrant and highly participatory. They are fully egalitarian (men and women participate equally). We believe we have found a healthy balance between the traditional and the creative. Services are in Hebrew and in English. We use both traditional and contemporary melodies, and encourage all to join in as we sing, chant and daven with our Rabbi.
