Youth Choir Rehearsals:
Wednesday nights at
5:45 p.m.
Monroe Temple Youth Choir sings at special services, Shabbat Hallelu, and holiday celebrations throughout the year, including High Holy Day Services. In 2011, our Youth Choir performed together with our Adult Choir at the Regional Choral Festival, at Shabbat Hallelu services, at Teacher Appreciation Shabbat, at the “Cantors in Love”Concert, and with Eric Komar at the Torah School Children’s Concert.
Other activities include holiday celebrations, Shabbat Dinners, and more! This is a fun way to learn new songs, expand Hebrew vocabulary, and to make new friends. If you are interested, contact Cantor Elena Schwartz at cantorschwartz@frontiernet.net.

LIKE TO SING? Then the Monroe Temple Adult Choir is for you! All voice parts are welcome - bass, tenor, alto and soprano. No musical background or Hebrew is required ... just YOUR presence, and the desire to meet new friends, make beautiful music and have fun. The choir is open to all adults who enjoy singing. It is a wonderful way to get involved at Monroe Temple.
Our temple choir can be heard singing at our High Holiday services, and various Shabbat services throughout the year. In addition, the choir performs at annual concerts, Shabbatons, at the Regional Choral Festival, at various Jewish community functions, and at homes for the aged.
