During the school year, the preschool meets Monday through Friday, offering a variety of programs to meet the needs of young families. Children as young as nine months and up to age five may participate. For further enrichment, a variety of afternoon classes are offered for older children. The staff is composed of a director, certified teachers, assistant teachers and specialists. The school is overseen by a committee of parents, other temple members, and teachers. Mentsch Maker Programs
Ima & Me is a “mommy & me” (or daddy or caretaker) experience, where adult and child explore, play, and learn together. The class meets once a week, and is designed for children ages 9 months to 2 years.

All By Myself promotes the process of gradual separation from parents or other adults, and is implemented on an individual basis, taking into account each child’s unique timetable. The class meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Enrichment classes are offered in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after preschool is over. A selection of these classes have included music, arts and crafts, cooking, taekwondo, fitness fun, and science explorers.
Mentsch Makers In the Summertime
At the conclusion of the school year, preschool youngsters have the opportunity to participate in a nurturing summer program within the familiar setting of the temple facility and playground.
